How To Measure For Your Cover
Finding the proper size cover is very important to the overall protection of whatever it is you're covering. The dimensions you see on our website are for our covers. The cover you choose will fit better and perform better if it is slightly larger than the object you are covering. Our rule of thumb is "Bigger is Better"!

H = Height and this dimension is determined by measuring from the top of the item down to the ground.
L = Length and this dimension is found simply by measuring the longest side of the item.
W = Width and this dimension is found by measuring the side adjacent to the L side.
Dia = Diameter on round appliances and this dimension is found by measuring from one side of the item across to the opposite side.
Go to Fire Pit, Chiminea and Patio Heater Cover Selections
- Often times, fire pits can be covered with small table covers because the shapes and heights are similar to each other.
- Fire pit covers, chiminea covers and patio heater covers aren't intended to touch the ground so that air can properly circulate underneath the cover. Don't worry if the cover does not come all the way down to the ground.
- Bigger is better, so select an outdoor protective cover size that is slightly larger than your fire pit, chiminea or patio heater dimensions.
- Allow your patio heating appliance to cool down before covering to prevent the outdoor cover from getting damaged. A good rule of thumb is to wait until you can place your hand on the appliance near the heat source and hold it without having to remove it. If the appliance passes this cool down test, then it can be covered.
