Bought for husband to replace a 6 year old E30 cover purchased from BMW. This one is superior in every way: better coverage and fit, higher quality fabric and construction and it was much less expensive.

I purchased the Universal fit. My car is stored in our third car garage, but was getting extremely dusty. For the price, this is an outstanding cover. Well made, pretty easy to put on by yourself. A bit small in height, about 3 inches, but for indoor storage, no problem.

BMW 3 Series E30 Car Covers

The introduction of the BMW 3 Series E30 saw very few changes from its previous iteration, but it would become popular for one thing more than any other - the introduction of the M3! When the E30 first arrived in 1982, the most noticeable change was updated suspension, which had been improved to help with oversteering. Most other changes were simple cosmetic enhancements to the interior. '85 saw another minor round of improvements, but the first real overhaul came in '87. This saw everything from the bumpers to the license plate frame to the engine range changed, leading many to dub it E30 version 2. Differences in the American market were small, confined mostly to elongated front and rear bumpers. Performance-wise, this model saw nice gains overs its predecessor. The 318i got 103 horsepower thanks to Jetronic fuel injection and the 323i saw impressive output with 141 horsepower. Of course, we’d be remiss not to discuss the M3. A European exclusive at its introduction, it had an impressive 235 horsepower with only a four cylinder engine. Body panels, suspension, and brakes were just a few of the things modified to make it truly stand out from the rest of the E30 class and made it a true performance vehicle - it won a litany of titles on the racing circuit.
