How to Measure > Air Conditioner Covers

To measure for air conditioner covers, review the drawings and follow these step-by-step guidelines:

H = Height, determined by measuring from the top of the air conditioner down to the ground.

L = Length, found simply by measuring the air conditioner from front to back.

W = Width, found by measuring from left to right across the front of the air conditioner.

Covering Tips

  • Air conditioner covers aren't intended to touch the concrete slab so that air can properly circulate underneath the cover. Don't worry if the cover doen't come all the way down to the ground.
  • Bigger is better, so select an air conditioner cover size that is slightly larger than your unit's dimensions.
  • Don't cover your air conditioner when it's operating. Doing so can cause damage to your unit.
