There is a heavy duty nylon (won't rust) zipper that runs the length of the umbrella cover, which makes it easy to put on and take off.  A mesh vent sewn into the side allows air to circulate while still keeping your patio umbrella clean and dry.

The Elite collection of patio umbrella covers uses a high-grade 300 denier stock-dyed polyester that has been specially treated to repel water, snow and ice. The seams are all sewn with channel-locking double-stitching and the raw edges of the material on the underside are surge stitched to prevent unraveling of the thread.  Elite patio umbrella covers are backed by a 3-year manufacturer's warranty.
