Designed to fit most one and two passenger snowmobiles, our CoverMates™ Classic Snowmobile Cover will be a welcomed addition to your winter wonderland. We’ve taken the same features found in our best line of outdoor furniture covers and applied them to our snowmobile cover! From the rugged mountains of Colorado to the vast wooded areas of northern Minnesota, winter’s worst is no match for these high-quality protective outdoor covers.
We begin with our heavy duty vinyl material. This is no ordinary fabric; it is used extensively in winter active wear. Always soft to the touch, our polyester fabric stays flexible no matter how cold it gets outside and is treated with two layers of moisture-resistant coating on the underneath side. Our snowmobile cover is available in a handsome black finish, so it’s easy to see even in the snow drifts.
Another area that sets our CoverMates™ Snowmobile Cover apart from the rest is the feature-rich construction of the product. Each snowmobile cover comes with built-in dual vents towards the rear of the cover to provide adequate air flow. The two benefits of this feature are the reduction of possible mold and mildew through air circulation and less ballooning during those windy winter days. Each snowmobile cover also has a set of three buckled straps for securing the cover to the snowmobile, strong elastic sewn into the hem, over-the-hood sewn in lining for scratch protection, twin grommets for cable and lock (cable and lock not included) and a front and back loop for additional securing options. We’re so proud of our snowmobile cover that we back it with a three-year warranty to provide you with complete piece of mind for the ultimate in outdoor protection.
Warning – Our CoverMates Snowmobile Cover is not intended to be used during the transporting of your snowmobile. Although it does have tie down straps, these straps will not endure sustained turbulence on the highway. Using our snowmobile cover as a traveling cover may result in damage to the cover and your snowmobile or may cause injury to others.
Cover Application
The back of the CoverMates Snowmobile Cover is identified with a sewn in label near the elastic that says “Back of Cover”. The front section of the snowmobile cover is identified by a reinforced soft underlining to protect the hood from scratching. Position the back of the cover around the rear seat area. Next, carefully stretch the snowmobile cover towards and over the front of the machine. The snowmobile cover is designed to cover the front struts, so be sure to pull the cover all the way down to them. Reposition the cover as needed to make sure it is centered and correctly covering the snowmobile. Our snowmobile cover has three tie down areas sewn into the bottom hem to ensure the cover stays in place even during the toughest storms. These tie down straps are designed to be buckled and cinched tight. Clip each of the three buckle straps to their mate on the opposite side of the cover and tighten as much as possible. After all three buckle straps are clipped and cinched, give them one more check to be sure they are tight.
