Your expensive air conditioner unit will last for many years if properly taken care of, especially in the off season. Our Ultima polyester A/C unit covers are specially designed to provide superior protection from even the worst winter elements.
We formulated our Ultima polyester to provide superior protection from even the harshest elements. All Ultima polyester is 300 denier and is woven from solution-dyed yarn, a process that gives the fabric the best color-consistency and fade resistance available in the marketplace. Ultima polyester is also 2x more water resistant than other outdoor materials and is treated to block harmful UV sunlight. Ultima polyester fabric is highly durable but it is also lightweight and simple to put on or take off their air conditioner unit.
Each air conditioner cover has built-in straps in addition to an elastic hem and drawcord to keep the cover in place, even in strong winds. All freon and electrical lines can be routed through the heavy-duty velcro slit on the corners of the unit to give the cover a better fit. Note: if your connections are not on the corners of your a/c unit, this cover will not work well for you.
Each Ultima cover is also equipped with covered breathing vents to ensure proper airflow, preventing trapped moisture that can cause rust, mold and erosion.
