Peppermint Fudge

There is nothing like peppermint to put you in the holiday spirit.Your friends and family will love this little taste of Christmas!


  • 15 peppermint candies
  • 1 14oz can Eagle Brand condensed milk
  • ¼ cup margarine
  • 16oz white chocolate chips or bars
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 8 - 10 drops red food coloring


1) Line 8 inch pan with wax paper
2) Put mints in gallon-size Ziploc bag, seal and coarsely crush with mallet or bottom of heavy can - should make about ½ cup of crushed mints
3) In microwaveable large mixing bowl, combine Eagle Brand milk, margarine, and white chocolate; melt in microwave on half power for 30 seconds at a time, stirring every 30 seconds
4) When melted, stir in peppermint extract and food color until blended
5) Stir in all but 1 tablespoon of crushed peppermint
6) Spread mixture in pan and sprinkle top with remaining crushed peppermint
7) Refrigerate fudge 4 hours or until firm
8) Invert pan on cutting board and peel off wax paper
9) Turn over and cut fudge into 1 inch squares
10) Place in airtight container with wax paper between layers and refrigerate
