Our Shipping Policy
We contract with UPS for the standard and expedited shipping of our products. Since they charge based on the size and weight of the package, as well as the distance the package travels, we believe it's best to base our shipping costs on your actual freight charge as well. This way you know exactly what you're paying for and what you're saving before making your purchase.

At The Cover Store we prefer not to play games with our prices and shipping costs. It is our experience online retailers advertising "free shipping" more often than not off-set their shipping costs by increasing the prices of their goods. This philosophy gives customers the impression they're saving money, when in fact that's not the case.
Another common shipping tactic is to charge a "flat" shipping rate to all customers based on the dollar amount of their purchase, regardless of their geographic locale. For instance, if said retailer ships from the east coast, their east coast customers pay the same shipping charges that a west coast customer pays. In this scenario, the east coast retailers would be subsidizing the freight costs to get packages to the west coast. Not exactly an upfront way to do business either.
Expected Delivery Time
After an order is placed, we take between 1 to 2 business days to get the order processed and shipped. In the even your order includes a custom product, we will ship in 7-10 business days. Orders that include both stocking product and custom or backordered items will be held within 14 days from date of order. Contact us if you want stocked products shipped sooner. Packages that go out via our standard delivery option (UPS Ground) generally take between 2 - 5 business days to arrive to their shipping destination. Please see the UPS Zone chart below to determine your package's delivery time frame.
To expedite your order, you may select from one of the faster delivery options offered during the checkout process. Please note* Orders being shipped to Alaska and Hawaii must go out via the 2nd Day Air or Overnight Express delivery option. Presently, we are only accepting orders that will ship to U.S. destinations.
For orders less than $15, we offer Flat Rate shipping as a method to help save you money. However, due to the Post Office's operations, your package will not be trackable and can generally take between 7-10 business days to arrive to its destination.
Expected delivery time for a custom product can take up to 16 business days to arrive at the shipping address. Generally a custom item takes between 7-10 business days to be produced and shipped.
On the rare occasion a product is out of stock, a notice will appear on the item's detail page indicating when we expect to replenish our inventory for this item. The out of stock item will be shipped to you at no additional freight cost.
